Kiama Little Athletics Centre was formed in 1979. It was the 114th Little Athletics Centre registered with Little Athletics NSW. We cater for for children as young as 3 in Tiny Tots and Age Groups range from U/6 to U/17.

The Little Athletics season commences in September and concludes in March.

Weekly competitions are held at the Kiama Sports Complex, Havilah Place, Kiama. Due to the lack of adequate lighting the first few weeks are normally held on Saturday mornings. Shortly after Daylight Saving commences competition moves to Friday evenings.

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots participate in playtraining events. They are taught gross motor skills with an emphasis on fun and learning basic athletics skills.

Under 6 To Under 17

These Age Groups are put into gender based groups with an Age Manager. They follow a program of events including throws, jumps, sprints, hurdles, middle and long distance. Results are recorded and distributed to the athletes the following week. Children are grouped strictly according to their date of birth - there is no flexibility to change Age Group.
